Yet again at the magnificent cash game
So this past Sunday was the awesome cash game took place where players battled for one anther's chips. I was able to come out of it a victor with $345. The reads I were making were marvelous and the deck seemed to hit me every time with the occasional bluff to gain more chips. To the beginner poker player who is looking at the last sentence with a puzzled face not being able to interpret the lingo, don't worry I am going to inform you. The term, "bluffing," means you try and bet a player off a hand representing you have a hand that has them beat when in fact you do not. Whether you get the opposing player to fold or not, the action you were making with the betting is called a bluff. Now when the deck hits a player, it means that the cards seem to always be in their favor giving them hands most of the time winning over opponents hands. Reading a player is just that, its trying to figure out what the opposing player's next move will be. All of these things and more create an exhilarating experience. So next time you are in a poker game, give bluffing a try, try to show the other players that your hand is boss. Tonight is my home game, lets hope I can keep my championship.

Placing thrice in two weeks
Hey so pretty much last week and this week were awesome. Last week Monday I placed first for $60 at my home game and Wednesday I placed 2nd for $50 at a friend's home game. So last week was a killer week for poker, and so far this week on Monday I continue to be the raining champion with another first place victory for 1st place with a nice $70 following it. During this game I was flopping straights and boats all over, I was pretty much hitting the deck. And for anyone that doesn't know exactly what a bout or a straight is, boat meaning full house, here is a full chart.

Filming!
So far I am almost done editing the show that I have been working on for a little while now and have just about 15 minutes for the show. I hope its a hit and people find its interesting and most of all find it comical. If the show takes off, then I hope to make a second episode. I don't want to go into details about whats in it because that will ruin the surprise. The basic plot is someone just moved into an apartment and now is in search of three additional roommates. This individual has O.C.D., and is currently looking for three other people who have problems of their own in hopes that their conditions will make him feel normal. Due to time and schedules I'm only able to get just enough footage in hopes that it will be enough. Once it is finished I will post a link to the video.

Filming Update!
Ok so last week I filmed a lot more for the show I'm hoping will be a hit. I finished editing the intro and now only have a few small things to finish filming. I'm hoping for it to be done be next week and online.
Monday Poker Game!
I am now on standby for the next game of poker which is my home game. If I play my cards right I will take 1st and the moneys that follows with a few bluffs along the way. As for last sundays $100 cash game (high stakes for me) I only ended up losing $24. At first I thought I was going to be down and out with getting as low as $8 but was able to turn that up to $165 and then basically caught nothing until $76. Wish me luck.
Heres a little help for new players and the best starting hands to have and usually play:

Foxwoods!
| Foxwoods hotel and Resort! |
It was heads up, and I knew my opponent had a pair of aces but he only made a $20 bet into about an $80 pot. I had a flush draw and figured I'd try my luck and when the turn hit it was a 10 so on the turn I had any 14 cards to hit on the turn to make my hand better than his. He ends up pushing all in and I call for a club to come on the river, so he was one of my victims. Another guy ended up shoving all in and I only had a mid two pair with one of my pairs on the board, it took me a little while to think about it but ended up calling him with the better hand and took him out. It is awesome to try and read people, try and tell what they have and make the right decision it is a huge thrill of the game. I tend to go to Foxwoods on several occasions and do pretty well. We ended up eating at the Scorpion bar which was pretty awesome.
Now I'm waiting for sunday nights cash game. I hope I do well.

Poker!
Poker is the ability of reading your opponent and figuring out what their next move is. I absolutely love this game and do a pretty good job at it. My target audience is anyone who enjoys the thrill and excitement of cards as well as the adrenaline rush of reading your opponent correctly. The point of this game is to have all the chips in front of you while collecting some dough as well. So far I am up quite a bit of mulla and have been taking trips to Foxwoods as well. I ussually play three times a week between cash games and tournaments. Last night I played in a cash game and took home $110 profit, sweet deal huh? I tend to make more money playing cards then my actual job....how disgusting is that. My plan for the future is to continue playing cards and getting better, practice makes perfect right? Tonight is my home game here in plymouth, I'll post how well I did in my next post.
